Introducing the MoFo Tech Law Summit – Innovation Under Regulation

MoFo Tech Summit

Six weeks post-election, MoFo will bring together technology companies, technology investors, and global policymakers to discuss the most pressing issues within tech law.

This year’s conference theme, “Innovation Under Regulation,” will explore regulatory issues in place under the Biden administration and the importance of such for the Trump administration, as we look toward the future of innovation.

We are curating a full-day event that will enable dialogue and the exchange of ideas among those advancing innovation, managing compliance, drafting policy, and overseeing regulations.

With the outcome of the 2024 U.S. presidential election now clear, we will draw on election commentary from Martha Raddatz, Chief Global Affairs Correspondent, ABC News, moderated by Morrison Forester National Security partner Brandon Van Grack.

This conversation will set the stage for an enlightening day of discussions for our clients on what to expect from a second Trump administration and the new Congress as it relates to technology regulations.

A Sampling of Topics We Will Explore:

  • Election Commentary
  • Antitrust Enforcement
  • Tales from the AI Frontier
  • Investing in Innovation
  • Semiconductors 2030
  • Responsible Technology
  • Data and China

The day will close out with an energetic session featuring Kevin Roose and Casey Newton, co‑hosts of The New York Times’ Hard Fork podcast, moderated by Morrison Foerster Technology Transactions partner Tessa Schwartz. This session will be a discussion of how technology influences our lives, culture, and society.
